Desperados Grand Prix 2025 will be held as two separate tournaments.
On Saturday 8 November, rapid chess will be played, starting at 14:00.
On Sunday 9 November, blitz chess will be played, starting at 10:00.
There are several accommodation options nearby.
Common to both tournaments:
The tournaments are NGP-turneringer with FIDE rating.
Group A: Players rated 1600 or higher. NGP classes master, 1 and 2.
Group B: Players rated below 1600 or unrated. NGP classes 3, 4 and 5.
There will be 9 rounds using the FIDE Dutch Swiss system, or Berger if there are 10 players in a group.

Time format
Saturday: 10 minutes thinking time with a 2-second increment per move.
Sunday: 5 minutes thinking time with a 3-second delay per move (Bronstein).

The entry fee for each tournament is NOK 300 for seniors and NOK 200 for juniors, born in 2005 or later.
