Rating
The tournament is an NGP tournament (https://www.sjakk.no/aktuelt/norges-grand-prix-2023-2024) (https://www.sjakk.no/turneringer/norges-grand-prix) with FIDE rating.
Group A: Players with a rating of 1800 or higher.
Group B: Players with a rating of 1600–1799.
Group C: Players with a rating of 1599 or lower.
The groups may be merged if there are few participants.
Standard chess
5 rounds of FIDE Dutch Swiss will be played, or Berger if there are 6 players in a group.
Live broadcast. The time control is 45 minutes of thinking time with a 30-second increment per move.
Registration
The entry fee is NOK 500 for adults and NOK 300 for juniors, born in 2006 or later.
