A touring exhibition featuring Inga Blix, Wenche Kvalstad Eckhoff and Aga Klos
Colour is a shared expressive element in the works shown in this touring exhibition. The participating artists work with different techniques, materials and formats. Sometimes colour forms the central element in large textile works or three-dimensional pictures; at other times, it highlights details or form in ceramic sculptures. The themes in the works may spring from concern as well as joy, or from humility before creation and the human mind. The capacity for wonder is important in creative work. The artists’ curious, alert and engaged view of the world embraces both love and humour.
Aga (Agnieszka) Klos was born in Poland in 1984 and settled in Hamar in 2018. Since 2020, she has lived in Stange. She works with ceramic sculpture in her studio in Hamar.
Wenche Kvalstad Eckhoff (b. 1946) grew up in Stange and lives and works in Oslo. Architecture and environment, home and identity are central themes in her work. The materials used vary from project to project.
Inga Blix was born in Oslo in 1956, grew up in Trondheim, and lives and works in Hamar. She works with textiles as a material point of departure.
