Flåklypa Days in Alvdal is a new summer festival with nine days filled with activities, markets and experiences for all ages. Inspired by Kjell Aukrust’s universe – and by the village itself. Here, volunteer spirit, tradition and Flåklypa magic come together!

Solan is taking a cured leg of lamb from Alvdal to Tynset to check whether the cured meat tastes any better in Tynset. The journey takes place on a 1920 Harley with a sidecar.

Cheese race with tasks and overnight stay from Synnøve Finden Dampysteri to the Moon Rocket La Pollo XIII. Finish: The cheese will be fired to the moon! When it comes back down, it will be grilled on Reodor's bicycle grill.
5.00 PM: Trip to Barald's grave with flower flora.
Meet at the bank for transport. We drive up to Flatron and walk 2 km over to Barald's grave. Tour guide: Bjørn Langleite (tel. 982 55 965)

From here to the moon, taking over the moon rocket: La Pollo XIII, where the cheese will be launched to the moon! We are excited to see which team arrives first. When the cheese comes back down from the moon, we’ll grill it on Reodor’s bicycle grill!
