North Østerdal Chess Club
Kjell Aukrust loved playing chess! It was the excitement – the excitement and the excitement that was fun, he said.
The chess club in North Østerdalen was founded here at Huset Aukrust in autumn 2023 and holds regular meetups and tournaments, and organizes a chess school in January. See the calendar for tournaments.
Participation is free. There are some chessboards available, but if you prefer your own, bring it with you!
Solan og Ludvigs kafe is open for those who would like refreshments.
On Saturday 3 February, a rapid chess tournament will be held at Bunåva in Vingelen, and on Saturday 2 March at Rabalder in Røros.
And in addition to the Saturdays when games are played at Huset Aukrust, it is also possible to take part in online practice on Wednesdays. See calendar.
