Sandeggbakken, Alvdal, 19–22 February 2026
Last year, Solan Gundersens Vinterleker celebrated its 25th anniversary, and once again Alvdal IL is delighted to welcome young skiing talents to our ski village, where Kjell Aukrust laid the foundations for his entire creative universe, with Solan Gundersen as the one who was — naturally enough — by far the most worldly.
Together with several other figures from Aukrust's universe, our main venue Sandeggbakken was put on the map here, and the hill is still going strong.
For more than 25 years, aspiring elite athletes in ski jumping and Nordic combined have become familiar with Alvdal and Sandegga, as we colloquially call the ski jumping facility. Tom Hilde was the first national team athlete with achievements from Solan Gundersens Vinterleker, but many, many more have followed since then.
You can see the preliminary programme for the days here, and we encourage everyone to arrive as early as possible for both training and social activities. We especially encourage everyone to attend the official opening ceremony on Thursday evening, as well as the prize-giving and banquet on Saturday evening. At the banquet there will, among other things, be many great raffle prizes. Join us! Following good experiences, we are continuing with the official events starting on Thursday evening, with the Nordic combined ski jumping competition at 19:30.

- 19:00 Headlamp race organised by Alvdal Hiking Association
- 19:30 Nordic combined ski jumping competition - 1 trial round, 2 scoring rounds
FRIDAY 20 FEBRUARY
- 09:50 Opening in Sandeggbakken
- 09.30-13.30 Mini-Solan for Alvdal primary school
- 10:00 Nordic combined cross-country
- 13:00 Official ski jumping training
- 15.00 Team leaders' meeting for ski jumping and team ski jumping at Huset Aukrust
- 18:00 Bottle ski jumping competition at Huset Aukrust
SATURDAY 21 FEBRUARY
- 10:00 Special ski jumping competition
- 10:00 Ski play in Sandeggbakken
- 13:00 Activities and lunch in Alvdalshallen
- 18:00 Prize-giving for individual competitions, Huset Aukrust
- 19:00 Formal banquet with good food and great raffle prizes
SUNDAY 22 FEBRUARY
- 10:00 Team ski jumping - 2 scoring rounds (without a trial round) with prize-giving in the hill immediately afterwards
