This policy explains how Huset Aukrust processes personal data about you when you visit the aukrust.no website.
Aukrust AS is the data controller for the personal data collected via this website.
Aukrust AS, Nord-Østerdalsveien 5119, 2560 Alvdal. Organisation number: 922 342 415. Email: post@aukrust.no. Phone: +47 62 48 78 77.
If you have questions about how we process personal data, you can contact us by email.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as IP address, time, browser type, and which pages are requested. This is necessary to deliver the website, ensure stable operation, and detect misuse. The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest. Server logs are stored temporarily and deleted automatically.
We use the analytics tool Plausible Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, and what type of device is used. Plausible is a privacy-friendly tool that does not use cookies and does not store identifying information: your IP address is used only transiently to count the visit and is never stored. The statistics are solely aggregated and cannot be linked to you as an individual, and data is processed on servers in the EU. The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest. Because the tool does not use cookies or track individuals, consent is not required.
If you consent to the “marketing” category in the consent banner, tools for advertising and ad measurement are loaded via Google Tag Manager — currently Google Ads and Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram). These are used to measure the effect of advertising campaigns and show relevant ads on other websites, and are managed by our media agency on our behalf. The legal basis for processing is consent, and you can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.
The website uses the consent solution c15t (inth.com) to display the consent banner and store your choices. Your choice is stored locally in your browser, and an anonymised proof of consent is registered with the provider so that we can document that consent has been obtained. The legal basis for processing is legal obligation and legitimate interest.
If you change the language on the website (Norwegian, English, or German), your choice is stored in a cookie so that the website remembers your language the next time you visit. It contains no personal data beyond the language choice itself. The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest — to provide a function you have requested yourself.
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (name, contact information, and the content of your enquiry) in order to respond to you. The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest, or performance of a contract if the enquiry concerns a purchase or a booking.
Tickets for events are purchased from an external ticket provider. When you click “Buy ticket” or similar, you are sent to the provider’s website, and the provider’s privacy policy applies to the information you provide there (name, contact information, payment information). Huset Aukrust does not receive your payment information.
Some pages contain embedded third-party content: YouTube videos and Google Maps maps. When such pages are loaded, technical information (including IP address) is transferred to Google, and Google may set its own cookies. See Google’s privacy policy for information about how Google processes this data.
We use the following suppliers that process data on our behalf or receive data when you use the website:
We do not share your personal data with others for their own purposes, and we never sell it.
Some of our providers (including Google, Meta, and Vercel) may process data in the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), which ensure that the information receives protection equivalent to that within the EEA.
You have the right to:
Please contact us at post@aukrust.no to exercise your rights. We will respond within 30 days at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you believe we are processing your personal data in breach of the regulations.
We update this statement as needed, for example if we start using new tools. The date at the top of the page shows when the statement was last changed.
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Some are necessary for the website to function, while others are used for marketing. The website also uses local storage (localStorage), which works in a similar way.
The first time you visit aukrust.no, you will see a banner where you can accept all, reject all, or customize which categories you allow. Cookies in the “marketing” category are only set if you have given consent. Necessary cookies are set regardless of consent, because the website does not function without them. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page.
These are required for the website to function and are set regardless of consent:
We use Plausible Analytics for visitor statistics, and it is completely cookie-free. The tool stores nothing in your browser and does not track you as an individual — the statistics are aggregated and anonymous only. Therefore, no statistics cookies are set on this website.
Used for advertising and measuring ad campaigns. The tools are managed by our media agency via Google Tag Manager and are set only after consent has been given. Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) are currently used:
Which cookies are set may vary depending on which campaign tools are active at any given time.
Some pages contain third-party content that may set its own cookies when the content is loaded or used: YouTube (video playback) and Google Maps (maps on contact and visitor pages). Read more about Google’s use of cookies.
In addition to changing your consent here on the website, you can delete stored cookies and block new ones in your browser settings. See your browser’s help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) for instructions. Please note that the website may function less effectively if you block necessary cookies.
