How do I book a trip in the Moon Rocket?
The moon rocket La Pollo XIII is open every day during the school holidays. During the autumn, the moon rocket is open on weekends until the snow arrives, and during the school autumn break.
The Moon Rocket has room for 8 people per trip, and tickets can be purchased in the museum shop as an add-on to the museum ticket.
Is the Moon Rocket suitable for small children?
The moon trips are suitable for all children aged 0 to 104, and the very youngest children are welcome to take the moon trip together with their parents.
Do you welcome groups and school classes?
Yes, we are happy to welcome groups and school classes. We offer special rates for groups of 20+ people, and the group leader/driver gets in free. Advance booking is recommended – please contact us at post@aukrust.no or +47 62 48 78 77.
Can we get a guided tour?
We offer guided tours for groups and school classes with advance booking. Please contact us to arrange the time and content – we are happy to tailor it to age and interest.
Can we rent the museum for an event?
Yes, Huset Aukrust can be rented for meetings, conferences and events. The Sverre Fehn architecture provides a truly distinctive setting. Contact us for available dates and an offer.
Is there a café at the museum?
Yes, Solan og Ludvigs Kafé is open during the museum's opening hours.
Do you allow dogs?
Guide dogs and service dogs are welcome inside the museum itself. Unfortunately, other dogs must wait outside. Guide dogs cannot accompany visitors up into the Moon Rocket because of the narrow passageways.

We accept cards and Vipps at the ticket desk.
